We currently are currently offering a few options for helping your child to overcome his social skills challenges.

Whiz Kid Club (Boys in Grade 2-6)

This is a nine week social skills group that meets once a week for 1 1/2 hours. We will use an evidence based social skills curriculum in addition to team building projects and fun games with a purpose to help boys to discover the joy of healthy relationships.

Handwriting Without Tears Tutoring

This multi-sensory program was developed specifically to help children to develop good handwriting in a fun and engaging way.  These 1/2 hour sessions  will help your child take apart each letter and see the easy components. The specially designed tools help to develop each skill and the special paper will help to guide your child to write clearly and cleanly.

WhizKid Day Camp (ages 7-12)

This is a week long day camp held in the Summer which specifically addresses many of the challenges that our children face with social skills. We use a well thought out, thoroughly researched program which is so much fun your child won’t even know how hard he is working!

Parent Support Group (Hillsboro Satellite of CHADD)

Meets the 2nd Thursday of the Month at 6:30 pm. We partner with CHADD the national organization for Children and Adults with ADHD for a free monthly parent support group. We are not particular about what diagnosis your child has or doesn’t have. We share our joys and challenges with raising our very intense children.
